This is our list of the Best Fights Of Dragon Ball Super. Over the course of two DBS films, we have seen a number of epic fights come and go. A lot of the credit goes to the tournament of power that pits amazing fighters against each other. While Goku got the chance to use the Ultra Instinct mode, Vegeta shines as the Rage Super Saiyan.
We even saw warriors like Jiren and Beerus, who were the crownless kings of these battles. Nevertheless, the contenders fought to their fullest potential. So today, we will look at only the best fights that DBS offers. Without any further ado, here is a list of the 13 Best Fights Of Dragon Ball Super.
1. Vegeta Against Magetta
Besides the Androids, many powerful robots exist in the universe. One of them happens to be the Universe 6 resident, Magetta. Magetta was a joint metallic robot that was pitted against Vegeta in the initial rounds of Tournament of Power. To everyone’s surprise, the robot did give a tough time to Vegeta as no blow was absorbing in his metallic body. So, do watch this epic battle to find out who won this one!
2. Jiren vs. Hit
One of the most heartbreaking battles that take place in Dragon Ball Super is this one. Hit decides to take revenge upon Jiren for defeating Goku. But things don’t go according to his plan. Jiren easily takes down Hit with a single blow. Viewers end up feeling numb after seeing a lost Hit. Therefore, this one remains one of the shortest battles of the Tournament of Power.
3. Vegeta vs. Beerus
The first Dragon Ball Super movie has many amazing battle sequences. But nothing is compared to the Vegeta-Beerus battle. Beerus slaps Bulma out of arrogance which brings out the real rage in Vegeta. Moreover, this was the first time that we witness Vegeta acquiring the Rage Super Saiyan form. Thus, Vegeta became the only Saiyan who could put a scratch over Beerus.
4. Jiren Against Goku
One of the most shocking fights in the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super was the one between Goku and Jiren. The Super Saiyan, who took down various opponents, easily could not even lay his hands upon this warrior. The fans were equally shocked at this moment as Goku has never felt so powerless against any competitor. Moreover, even the Ultra Instinct mode did not work against Jiren. So, we place the fight on the top spot for sheer shock-factor.
5. Goku, Number 17 and Frieza Against Jiren
This was the final battle of the Dragon Ball Super movie. Heroes and villains alike team up against the big man, Jiren. This beautifully animated fight sequence depicts wonderful coordination between Goku, Frieza, and Android 17. Even though the three are visibly injured after the last battle, they still manage to overpower Jiren in a combined move. Hence, this epic fight gets into the top five of our list of Best Fights Of Dragon Ball Super.
6. Goku-Hit vs. Dyspo-K’nsi
Goku and Hit got along quite well after their first tournament together. This match was a special edition battle royal between four champions. The beautiful chemistry of Goku and Hit is visible throughout the game. As a result, the duo was so powerful that Dyspo left the match halfway. Thus, K’nsi lost the match alone.
7. Vegeta Against Frieza
Two characters that have gone from being friends to enemies are Vegeta and Frieza. This relationship was not thoroughly dissected in the original DBZ show. But the film made sure that the two got a chance to settle the deal. As a result, we got this epic battle. Two of the most lethal killers of the Dragon Ball universe fought to their last breaths. Although, Vegeta did lose this one only to become an even stronger warrior in the future.
8. Universe 9 Against Goku and Vegeta
During the initial matches of the ToP, Universe 9 and the Saiyans were up against each other. The match was initially set with Goku, but a certain act by Universe 9 forces Vegeta to join too. What follows is a jaw-dropping fight scene. Hence, this one is definitely a feast to watch as Goku and Vegeta work in full coordination to take down the opponent.
9. Goku and Hit
This fight was a major plot point of the Dragon Ball Super manga. The face-off takes place during the Universe 6 Tournament. The fight was more of a competition of power than a rivalry. Goku got a chance to test his skills against a fighter who can literally mingle with time. Earlier, Hit was successful in taking down Vegeta. But in the end, our Super Saiyan took him down with sheer power.
10. Kefla vs. Goku
Another Tournament of Power battle that blew everyone’s mind was Goku vs. Kefla. The Universe 6 resident gave a tough fight to an Ultra Instinct Goku. Additionally, even after being weaker than Goku, Kefla did not give in. The final Kamehameha the Goku charges against Kefla is one of the most-watched clips of Dragon Ball Super. It’s never a bad time to revisit this amazing fight.
11. Vegeta vs. Cabba
Another epic battle of the Tournament of Power was between Vegeta and Cabba. Unlike other rivalries, this one was more of a training for Cabba. Vegeta being the senior, pushes Cabba’s limits to encourage him to win. Although Cabba couldn’t make it, he did win many hearts after the battle. Therefore, we place this fight at the eleventh spot on this list of Best Fights Of Dragon Ball Super.
12. Ganos And Master Roshi
In the Tournament of Power, Master Roshi decides to test his powers against the Universe 4 resident Ganos. Surprisingly, this was a pretty epic fight. The fight was a good example of experience versus power. Master Roshi is seen using the last of his strength to beat Ganos. It’s a surprise that Roshi survived the blows from Ganos. Thus, this courageous fight gets a spot on this list.
13. Beerus and Goku
This was Goku’s ultimate battle with the God of Destruction in the Dragon Ball Super movie. It was the first time that fans witnessed two gods pitting against each other. The fight was in itself a feast to watch. With unique moves to devastating impacts, this one is definitely an epic face-off. Thus, do check out the fight on YouTube and witness the epicness yourself.
