The first episode of Spriggan Anime was scheduled to arrive in a month or two. But the trailer that came out this weekend was nothing short of a shock for many fans. Hiroshi Takashige and Ryōji Minagawa’s original science fiction manga was all set for an anime adaptation this year. But it looks like the 1999 project will have to wait for one more year. The latest trailer on Netflix suggests that the anime will not stream anytime soon.
That’s right, Spriggan Anime has a new release date. David Production’s official website also gives us new insights from the upcoming show. With new cast updates and release dates, it’s hard to keep up. So, without any further ado, here is all you need to know about the new details.
Spriggan Anime: Plot Details & New Trailer
The anime adaptation of Hiroshi Takashige and Ryōji Minagawa’s original work will directly adapt its story without significant changes. The story revolves around Yū Ominae, who looks like an ordinary high school student. But the secret behind his identity is that he is a Spriggan in disguise. For those of you who don’t know, a Spriggan is a secret service agent job.
Ominae works for the ARCAM Corporation that names itself as the protector of ancient civilization possessions. This agency also works against criminals and masterminds who plan on stealing these antique and powerful objects. Thus, the anime will follow the adventurous life of Ominae as he struggles to keep up with high school and his job. Check out the newest trailer of Spriggan Anime right here.
