The previous episode, titled ‘Reunion’, aired this week. The episode showed how Hajime and his group successfully escaped the Volcano they were trapped in. Now the group will recover and regain their strength while resting in Erisen. However, after the announcement from the Church, Hajime will not have an easy road in the future. Arifureta Season 2 Episode 5: Plot Details!
Arifureta Season 2 Episode 5 will continue to take place in the city of sea, Erisen. As Hajime has mentioned in the previous episode, he wishes to stay there to run maintenance on his submarine. Kaori also wishes to stay behind so she can look after Remia. The coming episode will focus more on the people of Erisen and their daily lives. It will show more about the mysterious people of the city and their customs. Remia, who teases Hajime, might join the adventurous gang, as Myu probably does not want him to leave.
On the other hand, Hajime will have to face new threats after being branded as a heretic. Afraid that they will lose their power over the people, the Church plots to destroy Hajime and makes him the villain. Hajime is the only one who knows the true objectives of the Church. However, now that the Church has lied about his heresy, no one would believe him. The people will simply discard his warnings as controversial and would not pay him attention. Episode 5 of Arifureta Season 2 will address how Hajime will cleverly manipulate the situation in his favor.

Arifureta season 2 Episode 4 opened with Tio in her dragon form flying down to reach Kaori and Myu. A concerned Kaori then asks her about Hajime and others. Tio then tells her that the other will join them soon. Kaori heals Tio as she passes on Hajime’s message to her. She becomes pleased to know that he has promised to return to her. After realizing that Myu is in danger the two women then decide to return her to her mother. So, they set out to reach Erisen. Meanwhile, a flashback scene narrates how Hajime and the others escaped from the volcano. In the volcano, the group discovers a magic circle that allows the user to teleport anywhere quickly. However, their search is interrupted by the waves of lava that threaten to swallow them. Hajime then informs the group of a submarine he built.
The group then use the submarine to escape from the volcano. However, Hajime loses control over the submarine and ends up in a strange place. Surrounded by water everywhere, the group then gets attacked by strange people. They accuse Hajime of being the one who kidnapped one of their own. However, Myu, Tio, and Kaori join them and explain the situation. Together they travel to Erisen, and Myu finally reunites with her mother. The ending of the episode reveals shifts to Aiko and Shizuku, who reveal that Hajime is officially branded as a heretic. As he refused to comply with their orders, the church has tarnished his name and made him the enemy. The two women then agree that they cannot trust anyone now.

Arifureta Season 2 Episode 5 will be titled ‘Memories From The Bottom of The Sea’. It will uncover some hidden secrets and clear the mystery surrounding the people of Erisen. In addition, it will also show how Hajime will plan an escape to save him from the followers of the church. The next episode will air on February 10, 2022.
