Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, many anime series including My Teen Romantic Comedy Season 3 was delayed. It has confirmed a summer release date and was originally set to debut in April 2020 anime season.
Now, the world is slowly getting back to normal and the state of emergency has been lifted in Japan. Therefore, various anime projects including My Teen Romantic Comedy are preparing for their official return. The good news for fans is that a new release date has been confirmed by the official website of the season and is set to release on July 9 in Japan.
The new season has officially been given the title of ‘My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax’. The depressing news for fans who are hooked to this show is that the third season is going to be the last and final season of the show. The series adapted the final few volumes of Wataru Watari and Ponkan8’s original light novel series, therefore, it will be the last season of the show.
Since the show is going to be released after a delay, the series has launched a super brief teaser trailer.
In Japan, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax will be releasing on Amazon Prime Video. But English speakers do not have to worry because Sentai Filmworks has confirmed that they have licensed the series for an English language release. Unfortunately, they haven’t confirmed yet which streaming services will be releasing this Anime season in the United States.
Cast of the Third Season
Interestingly, in the third and final season, there will be a returning cast and staff. Kei Oikawa will return from the second season to direct the final season for Studio Feel. The season is confirmed to run for a total of 12 episodes. Following will be the core cast of the season:

- Nao Toyama as Yui Yuigahama
- Ayane Sakura as Iroha Isshiki
- Saori Hayami as Yukino Yukinoshita
