A Galaxy Next Door debuted on April 7, 2020, in Kodansha’s seinen manga magazine Good! Afternoon. Kodansha publishes all of its chapter collections as tankbon volumes. With the huge announcement, some details about the new show will be made public. So, the protagonist is a manga artist who is down on his luck and ends up marrying an alien. A Galaxy Next Door Anime will debut on the screens soon enough. After the success of Sweetness & Lightning, Gido Amgakure has created another hit anime. Creator Ichirou Kuga is the mc of a brand-new series. He provides for his family by selling his manga and using an inheritance. However, things become quite challenging as he loses his two assistants. Once a young woman applies to be his assistant, things start looking up for him. She surprises everyone by being very capable in her role, but she also surprises him by proposing marriage, which is more than he planned for. You can see the trailer right here:
Cast & Staff Updates
Anime fans will now be able to see A Galaxy Next Door, which will include a love story that is out of this world. Taku Yashiro voices the male lead, Ichiro Kuga, and Yu Wakui voices the female lead, Shiori Goshiki. In addition to Taku Yashiro (Ichiro Kuga), Yu Wakui (Shiori Goshiki), and newcomers Rina Endo (Machi Kuga) and Maria Naganawa (Fumio Kuga), the cast also includes the previously announced Yu Wakui (Shiroi Goshiki) and Maria Naganawa (Fumio Kuga).
Among the newly revealed members of the team is prop designer Kumiko Shishido, art director Arisa Taira, color designer Masumi Ohtsuka, DP Ryo Kujirai, ED Yuki Honda, and SD Ryo Tanaka. An adaptation of Gido Amagakure (originally published in Kodansha’s “excellent! afternoon” serial). Ryuichi Kimura Directs. Author Gigaemon Ichikawa composes the series. Naka Otaki of Asahi Production worked on the character design for the animated feature.
A Galaxy Next Door Anime: Release Date
We have some good news for readers of the manga. So, A Galaxy Next Door anime is scheduled to air in April 2023. As of now, the final release date is not out.
