Ao Ashi Episode 18: What Will Happen Next?
The following episode, titled “Wind Of Change,” hints that something will change soon, and Aoi will bring this change. After losing five matches, they finally won the first half with the help of their former striker. It will boost their team’s morale and help them prepare for the second half. However, their coach Nozomi-San will change the system. He will settle Togashi and Aoi together to play the defensive and offensive game. However, Nozomi instructed Aoi that both defense and offense playing is 180 degrees opposite to each other, and he is free to move too.
Nozomi believes that this change will help Aoi turn out as the best player in the match. Further, in the previous episode, Yohitsune told Aoi not to follow his path as it won’t be good for Aoi. So Aoi will take this into consideration. Soon they will work on their formation and play accordingly. But Aoi will be messed up a little before Otomo calls him to follow him. They will soon move to the front, and it will help Aoi to score a goal.
A Quick Recap!
Previously in Ao Ashi Episode 17, the Aoi team lost five Tokyo Metropolis matches in a row. Their next match was with the best team in this tournament. The air was tense, but the best part was Aoi was also playing in the match as a defender, not a usual forward striker. Nonetheless, he was glad he was playing with their former forward player Yoahitsune Kenta, one of the best strikers on their team. He helped them planing a sharp and strongest strategy for the match.
After then, they called off the day. The following day, Aoi was excited before the match. Soon the match began, and Aoi started playing the defense lines, despite being the least experienced player on the field. Sadly everyone could see his weak points and started treating him badly. But that’s where Aoi’s training started to come into action. He trapped all the spaces of his opponent and perfectly passed the ball. With Aoi’s help, Yoahitsune finally secured a goal.
