The 20th episode of Attack On Titan was an eye-gawking one. The episode takes place in the memories of Grisha Jeager. As the memories unfold, Zeke finds a more loving father than he was towards him. Grisha’s first son continuously tries to remind Eren of his father’s ill-doings and how he has pushed everyone into the wrong fate. However, Eren appears pretty quiet throughout these timescapes. The memories had certain moments where Grisha seemed almost unaware of his own endeavors and said things while staring gravely at nothing accurate.
The two brothers then find Grisha trying to get close to the royal family. Zeke concludes that this is because he will destroy them for his sweet will. However, something very suspicious catches Zeke’s eyes. In the moments when Grisha meets the Reiss family, he discloses a few secrets that the Attacking Titan yields. This surprises Zeke to the utmost. Finally, when Grisha refuses to kill the children, Eren convinces him to devour them in the end. The episode reaches its final scene when Grisha hugs his son, Zeke, and delivers that Eren has to be stopped.
