Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War is a Japanese anime based on the final arc of Tite Bleach Manga. Kubo is the author and illustrator. The makers shared the trailer and visuals of the series at Jump Festa ’22 on December 18, 2021. Currently, the series is running for four cours with few breaks in between.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2: Announcement
The finale of Part 1 featured a special ending and a promo video. On December 27, 2022, a promo video shared the details of the release date and other details about Bleach TYBW part 2. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 will cover volumes 55–74 of the manga. Tomohisa Taguchi will take over for Noriyuki Abe as the director at Studio Pierrot. He earlier helmed the anime Twin Star Exorcists.
Masashi Kudo will return as the character designer. Moreover, Shiro Sagisu will write the music. Tatsuya Kitani will sing the new theme song, Scar. Earlier, he sang the theme and visual songs for the Bleach Ex exhibition. On the other hand, SennaRin will be singing the ending theme song, Saihate. Despite the part 2 trailer’s gloomy atmosphere, our favorite characters will be alive and return to the screen. Repeatedly, the focus is on Ichigo, but other characters, like Toshiro Hitsugaya, are also put into the spotlight for their impressive abilities. However, the promo video didn’t feature Orihime and Ishida. Are Kubo and the makers hinting at something? Only time will decide their fate.
