Since the animated films came out almost two months ago, fans have been asking for the story to be made into an anime. Now that an anime version of the popular military-themed action role-playing game Blue Archive has been officially confirmed, fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Fans of Blue Archive can only assume that it will pick up where the first game left off. Kivotos, the setting of Blue Archive Anime, was founded when various educational institutions joined together. A Nexon Games subsidiary and Yostar worked together to make Blue Archive available for download on iOS and Android devices in Japan in 2021. More global releases followed this in that same year. Interested parties can only presume that Blue Archive will remain faithful to the source material due to the absence of information. Since it was first released, it has become very popular as a free-to-play role-playing game (RPG) with gatcha systems and interesting characters.
Blue Archive Anime: Teaser Out!
In celebration of their second year in business, Yostar Pictures and Nexon Games announced at a presentation that the mobile role-playing game Blue Archive will adapt into a TV anime. But to celebrate the announcement, the publisher made a teaser picture and a promotional movie, both of which feature Arona. Announcement concerning the official premiere of this series during a special live event. That commemorated Blue Archive’s 2nd anniversary in Japan. Blue Akapes was the event’s name. The publisher Yostar was the one in charge of the entire event.
At the event, the team behind the game celebrated the many achievements it has made in its two years of existence. As well as the many planned additions to the game that will be the result of player feedback. There have been new releases of ASMR and OST albums as well as TANITA collaborative scales. Twitter events have included Yuuka’s voice.
What Will be the Anime About?
The place where Blue Archive takes place, Kivotos, was found by a group of educational institutions working together. Kivotos is broken up into districts, and the General Student Council is thought to be the city’s highest governing body. Since the President of the General Student Council disappeared without a trace. The academy hasn’t been able to run Kivotos well. For problems that affected the whole city, GCS had to work with the Major Investigation Club, or Schale, which is better known by its acronym.
Schale now makes it a point to talk to Sensei whenever something strange happens in the Kivotos area so she can get some advice. Six months ago, Blue Archive was the second most popular game on both the iOS and Android app stores in Japan. This was a new record. This is a big step forward in and of itself.
Blue Archive Anime: Release Date
The designers also revealed a short animated clip of Arona, the game’s new NPC, and announced the TV animation development. The cast, platforms, and release date are unknown. February 4, 2021, was the original release date for the RPG. On November 8, 2021, it was released all over the world. But the final release date is yet to come out for the anime.
