Fortunately, the time has finally come as Blue Lock Soccer Anime has just been announced. The award-winning manga tells an endearing story of courage and passion for the love of soccer.
The news of the renewal of the anime adaptation was revealed by Mantan Web. Along with the announcement, the makers have also come out with a tentative release date. We also have the cast and crew updates in the public domain. Moreover, Bandai Namco has also revealed a new trailer for the upcoming anime. Blue Lock Soccer Anime: Plot Details & First Look
According to the official synopsis of the manga, the story of Blue Lock Soccer follows the struggles of the Japanese soccer team. After facing a tremendously shameful defeat at the 2018 World Cup, they are finding it hard to gobble up the courage to train again. The first step is to form a team. Thus, the Japan Football Union takes it upon itself to open the slots for more than 300 players from around the country.
The story is about the forming and forging of this new team that is all set to become a champion on the world stage. The official YouTube channel of Bandai Namco also shares a beautiful trailer that introduces the world of soccer to us. Cast & Crew Updates!
For now, the makers have only revealed four prime characters and their voice artists for the anime adaptation. Starting with Tasuku Kaito, who will be playing the character of Meguru Bachira. Next, we can expect to see Kazuki Ura as Yoichi Isagi. The character of Rensuke Kunigami will be played by Yūki Ono. Lastly, fans can expect to see Sōma Saitō in the role of Hyōma Chigiri.
Many names from the staff of Blue Lock Soccer Anime have been announced. For a start, Tetsuaki Watanabe is the director of the soccer series. Shunsuke will be assisting him in direction. Moreover, Taku Kishimoto will be handling the scriptwriting department. Next up, Saga of Tanya The Evil director Yutaka Uemura will serve as the project’s concept director. Lastly, all of this able team will be working at Studio 8-Bit to forge an incredible soccer show.
Blue Lock Soccer Anime: Release Date
Sadly, the Blue Lock Soccer Anime does not have a solid release date yet. But if we go by the production details and the trailer, there are speculations that the anime is not far away. The trailer has also confirmed that the anime will land on our screens in 2022. Thus, fans can expect to see the anime by mid-2022.
