Bullbuster Anime: Official Announcement
On Friday, Kadokawa announced that a TV anime version of their current Bullbuster project would be produced. On November 27, 2022, the show will also take part in the Kitakyushu Pop Culture Festival. Fans can expect to meet the main cast of the show to be there. The day before this, a booth setup will also be available. So, the original work and planning were done by Hiroyuki Nakao and P.I.C.S. The original character designer is Eisaku Kubonouchi. The series will be directed by Hiroyasu Aoki, who is also in charge of writing the screenplays.
The design, which Takahisa Katagiri will handle, will be based on Kubonouchi’s creations. Junji Okubo will be the mechanical artist for Bullbuster Anime. Plus, the series’ cast has also been announced. The cast will include actors including Asami Seto and Yuki Takada. Shinichiro Miki and Shoya Chiba will also be part of the cast. Kadokawa was the page that gave the plot details of the show. So, as per the synopsis, Tetsurou Okino is the protagonist of the Bullbuster anime. He is a young engineer who is hired by Hato Industries. This company works in vermin control. We also get to know that he brings Bullbuster along. Bullbuster is the name of the robot he made himself. Hato Industries is a tiny business with little funds. The president of the company, Tajima, and the company are also against a mysterious creature. This creature is only known as “Kyoju.”
And so, the company is stuck between fuel costs for robots and labor costs. To top it off, it is also unacceptable to waste a single bullet. How will Hato Industries and Tetsurou choose between extermination and the difficult cost of the budgets? The answers will only come out with the release of the show!
