A Quick Recap!
Previously in Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4 Episode 1, a young Yukichi Fukuzawa worked as a bodyguard but was haunted by the people he killed. Someone called him to join them, but he refused, telling them he would never work under someone again. During his investigation, he recognized the victim at the crime scene and decided to give his condolences. His secretary, on the other side, appeared busy investigating. Fukuzawa had heard of him, a young and infamous assassin. But he wondered how he was caught.
But he wanted to investigate the matter on his own. However, their investigation was interfered with by a stranger who claimed that the victim promised to him to give his certificate for a job. The person turned out to be a 14-year-old Edogawa Ranpo. The person later bantered with the secretary, revealing that the secretary was the killer, and he hired Oda. After hearing this, they detained him for the murder he didn’t commit. Oda escapes after killing the secretary as retribution. Fukuzawa was shocked by the quick turn of events and later asked Ranpo how he realized the secretary was the killer.
