Demon Slayer Season 2 seems to have a ball in ending episodes with a cliffhanger. Hence, in the last episode, Tengen is seen fighting off a new demon which is Gyutaro. The brother-sister demon duo seems to have an advantage over the Sound Hashira. However, Tanjiro has finally come to the fight scene and is ready to help Tengen to his utmost. Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 16: Plot Details!
The upcoming episode of Demon Slayer is titled “Defeating An Upper Rank Demon.” Now, according to the title, the next release might find the Demon Slayers getting a win out of the ongoing fight. However, it will not be easy as the demons are Upper ranks of Muzan. Plus, the violent brawl is likely to deeply injure the Sound Hashira Tengen. Well, Zenitsu and Inosuke are also struggling against Daki’s belt attacks.
In the final moments, Tanjiro has planned to bring out his Sun Breathing Technique. This will act as a huge help in the fight. However, Tengen is poisoned and now wounded due to the Kunai. So, it is unsure of how long the Hashira will last. Plus, the end scene of Tengen sharing a moment with Renguko hints likely at Tengen’s death. But it is not certain if he will bid a farewell in the coming episodes.

The 15th episode of Demon Slayer began with Tanjiro sheltering Nezuko into the wooden box and heading towards Tengen’s aid. The scene shifts to Tengen and Gyutaro aiming towards a huge fight. Just when the brawl is set to heat up, Zenitsu and Inosuke show up with Tanjiro right behind. Zenitsu takes on the demon sister while Inosuke confirms Tanjiro to stay with Tengen. Notably, the Sound Hashira is poisoned and struggles to fight with Gyutaro.
Tanjiro helps Tengen; however, due to his failed first attempt, he finds himself to be a burden. The demon sister recalls Zenitsu and unleashes her belts toward the two demon slayers. Well, Zenitsu has resolved to take his revenge for the little girl and counters her attack. The episode reaches its final panel when Tengen’s wife throws Kunai at the Upper Six demon. With the demon distracted, Tanjiro directs his sword at Gyutaro’s neck.

Ufotable’s brilliant animation comes alive during the fight scenes. Plus, Zenitsu seems to be getting a good hand at his breathing forms.
