The ninth episode of Demon Slayer is titled “Infiltrating the Entertainment District.” The next episode will open with Tengen Uzui taking the young demon slayers to the entertainment district area of Tokyo. He will give them all the necessary instructions before entering the area. These instructions will include keeping a low profile, staying away from potential demon suspects, and not making a fuss. Tengen will also mention the key details about the area.
The preview of Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 9 has also been released. However, the makers have changed the format of the preview. This time, the snippet doesn’t give away glimpses from the upcoming outing. Instead, the team of Demon Slayers breaks the fourth wall and declares the title of the next outing. The one-hour special pilot episode began at Muzan’s base, where Akaza informs him about Rengoku’s passing. Muzan said that he did a commendable job, unlike Enmu. On the other side, Tanjiro takes Rengoku’s last message to his house. There, he met with Rengoku’s father, Shinjuro. To Tanjiro’s surprise, the man was unaffected by his son’s death. He even went ahead to call the boy worthless. This ignited Tanjiro, and he headbutted Shinjuro out of impulse. Later on, Shinjuro mentioned that his earrings were a symbol of the Sun Breathing Technique.
Afterward, Tanjiro met with Rengoku’s brother Senjuro. The young boy offered Tanjiro the book of the Flame Hashira’s. To their surprise, all the pages that concerned the Sun Breathing Technique and the Hinokami Kagura were all torn away. As Tanjiro left, Senjuro offered him Rengoku’s personal sword guard. Four months pass by in a leap.
