In the first episode of Demon Slayer itself, it was established that there would be a long time until Tanjiro reunited with the human form of her sister. By the end of the pilot, all of Tanjiro’s family was massacred by a mystery demon. However, he finds that only Nezuko has survived the attack. But she paid a high price for survival. It turned out that Muzan Kibutsuji has injected some of his blood within Nezuko. This caused her to slowly descent into becoming a demon.
At first, it was almost difficult to control her urges for human blood. But for some reason, Nezuko was different from other demons. She could sleep for months and regain her strengths without even touching human flesh. Demon Slayer: Will Nezuko Turn Back Into A Human Again?
If the anime is set to follow the same storyline as the manga, then Nezuko will surely turn into a human. Some anime-only fans believe that Nezuko can control her powers pretty well. Thus, she does not need to turn back into a human. However, it is important for Tanjiro’s sister to become a human again because the whole story is pushed by this motivation alone.
Since the first episode, it was clear that Tanjiro was not someone who would be interested in joining any kind of violence. If Nezuko had not turned into a demon, he would not have decided to join the Demon Slayer Corps. Thus, if he gives up on this ambition, the character’s catharsis would veer into a vengeful end. Much later in the story, when Nezuko is well past her anger episodes and urges, she finally finds her Blood Demon Art. It turns out that her powers include releasing flames from bare hands. At this point, Tanjiro did have a choice to keep the status quo. But he remembered his vow and insisted on turning her sister back. Thus, Lady Tamayo finally found a cure to Muzan’s blood.
At first, the doctor is unsure of her medicine. However, she believed that Nezuko was strong enough to bear any side effects. Thus, she gives her the medicine and locks her in a cave under the care of Urokodaki and Kiriya Ubuyashiki. Nezuko slept for months before finally waking up. When she finally woke up, she had dark premonitions that Tanjiro was in danger. So, Nezuko began to run in every direction with Demon speed. But as she ran, she began to slow down.

She began to lose strength. As she stopped to take a breath, her voice came back. Her demon eyes turned back to blue, and her red hair also turned back to black. Thus, Nezuko turned into a human with the help of Tamayo’s medicine. However, this did take away one good demon from the world. It does fulfill the aim of eradicating all demons from the world.
