Demon Slayer Sword
Before Demon Slayer became a popular phrase, otakus knew the term with only one reference. This was the first sword that Asta wielded from his grimoire. The Demon Slayer Sword has multiple utilities in one. While the blade of the sword has the powers to defy any magic attacks, the flat side can be used as a deflection. Over the years, he trained relentlessly at the Heart Realm.
There, he took a few tricks up his sleeves. In a short amount of time, Asta had already learned how to summon the sword just by flinching his hand. The Demon Slayer Sword has been efficient in most of the fights for Asta.
Demon Dweller Sword
Asta’s second sword is much lean as compared to the two other weapons. The second sword has more use in combats rather than magic attacks. The sword enables Asta to borrow powers from an opponent merely by slashing them. Moreover, the injuries caused by this sword have special abilities to inflict the victim. There are only two characters in Black Clover who can wield this sword.
Only Asta and Licht have been able to get hold of the Demon Dweller Sword. The primary ability of this sword is to absorb magic and then release it during the slash attacks.

Demon Destroyer Sword
The third sword that came from the five-leaf grimoire is the Demon Destroyer Sword. The power that comes from this sword is known as Causality Break. Both the structure and the powers of this sword are different from that of the other two swords. Unlike Demon Slayer and Demon Dweller, this sword has a wider end and a narrow edge. In terms of power, the Causality Break uses a blade to absorb a magic attack.
Then, the absorbed power is nullified by the sword itself. The sword works the best against Reincarnation magic and dark magic attacks.
Yami’s Katana (Demon Slasher)
Yami’s Sword does not originally come from the grimoire. Instead, it was stored within the book much later. When Asta fought Dante Zogratis for the first time, it was Yami Sukehiro who gave Asta his sword. During the fight, Asta’s hand was covered in Devil’s energy. As a result, the sword was also inflicted with anti-magic powers. After the fight, Yami gave up the sword permanently. Thus, Asta got to keep the sword for his own use.
