Since the beginning of My Hero Academia, fans have been in the dark about Deku’s father in the series. From the start, fans have only seen Midoriya and his mother through the course of the entire series. So, nothing can be stated with complete confirmation. For the time being, fans can hope to believe that Hisashi is alive and well.
What Is His Quirk?
The details about Deku’s father’s quirk were revealed as early as the first chapter of the manga. When Deku and Inko visited the doctor in the first chapter, the expert asked about Hisashi’s quirk, Inko replied that he could ‘breath fire’ with his quirk. Besides this one phrase, nothing more was revealed about his quirk. Strangely enough, the manga never touched upon Deku’s feelings about his father. He never even mentions his dad either to his mother or to his friends.
Even if he is away from the family, there have been no calls, letters, or texts from the man to his family. For all one could guess, Hisashi Midoriya might be a super powerful pro hero who works for the secret services. But there is a lesser possibility of that. The only possible reason the manga never talks about the powers and occupation of Hisashi is that it might be saving the shock for the last.

Is Hisashi Midoriya A Villain?
One of the strongest theories that run around the internet regards Hisashi Midoriya being All For One. There are various reasons why this theory works. First of all, he never visits the family even after being a common salaryman. On top of that, his location, powers, and state of being are all unknown. The same is the case with All For One. While the story of the main villain traces a long trail of events, there is also a possibility that he married Inko in the meantime.
If this truth about Hisashi Midoriya is, in fact, true, then the dynamic between Deku, All For One, and One For All will hit the perfect ending mark.
