Haikyu is written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. It started serializing from February 2012 to July 2022 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. The manga series now has a total of forty-five tankobon volumes. Toho Animation will return to produce the Haikyu Final anime film. Apart from them, the rest of the staff will return with Production I.G.

Crunchyroll has recently dropped the synopsis of the Haikyu final anime film. The films will be based on the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga created by Haruichi Furudate. The anime focuses on the slice-of-life sports anime. It focuses on Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. He once sees volleyball players on television and decides to join the volleyball team. However, his school has no volleyball team.
So Hinata creates a team in his final year of middle school. However, all of them are beginners. Unfortunately, the team is challenged by the King of the Court, Tobio Kageyama’s team. Despite their efforts, they lose the tournament. After their brutal defeat, Hinata vows to defeat Tobio, so he joins the volleyball team and finds that Tobio is also there.
Haikyu Final Anime Film: Release Date
The official Twitter account recently revealed the Haikyu final anime film’s release date. The two films are scheduled to release in August 2023. It hints that the production is currently underway.
