The official website for the film announced that Auri Hirao’s manga would get a live-action film on Wednesday. The announcement was revealed on Maina Ichii, the idol unit ChamJam’s member’s birthday who Eripoyo loves. The official Twitter account of the project also posted a scene photo with Eripoyo placing her hand on Maina’s life-size standee’s shoulder. Moreover, Sayuri Matsumura will be returning to play the role of the main protagonist Eripoyo. Other cast members, such as Riho Nakamura, MOMO, KANO, and more, will also be returning.
Kentaro Otani is also returning to direct the film. Kumiko Motoyama will also be returning to work on the screenplay. Moe Hyuga will once again compose the music for the movie as well.
