Being an important part of the war, he has been well-versed only in the skills of fighting. But now, he wants to forget the horrors of his past and move forward.
This is when he decides that he is going to take up a job that deals with the skill and art of communicating. But this is also something that he cannot excel at right away. As mentioned in the title, everything comes the hard way. Being good at something does not mean that Leo can also become a good boss. This is something that he would have to work on.

It turned out that he was a half-demon boy sold into slavery. But he was disappointed in Echinda’s vision for the war. She had wanted to kill more humans than she actually did. The episode then explained the character of Leo.
Leo was a young boy who was born in a time when magic was not there in modern Tokyo. This was the time when humans created the 12 living weapons to deal with demons. But the war never seemed to come to an end. Thus, Leo was tired of fighting the war. The boy pointed out that he was a far better communicator than he was a fighter. The episode came to an end with Leo deciding that he would take interviews for a living.
