The fourth episode of Love Is War Season 3, titled “Kaguya Shinomiya’s Impossible Demand: “A Cowrie a Swallow Gave Birth To” Part 1,” started with an all-new love story. Ishigami comes to the realization that he is falling for a third-year senior now. But he thinks that he would never be able to ask out Tsubame as he is not as confident as his peers.
Kaguya tells him that if he is able to get the top 50 marks in the exams, she might notice him in the semester. It turns out that he could not score as much in the semesters. Thus, he decided that he was going to try out the same in the next year. In the final act of the episode, Chika spends the night at Kaguya’s residence. From there, they prank-call Miyuki to find out who he loves the most.
