The title of the next episode of Shikimori-san is “After Unhappiness, Fine Weather.” The ‘unhappiness in the title refers to the small argument that took place between Izumi and Shikimori towards the end of the previous episode. Even though Shikimori does not want Izumi to feel that she is the clingy partner, she does feel a little insecure when other girls come close to him. Even in the previous episode, she left the field when girls were coming to take pictures with him.
Well, the two of them managed to sort their differences in the previous episode. In Kawaii Dake Ja Nai Shikimori-san Episode 3, Izumi and Shikimori will spend the rest of the day with each other. The weather is going to be beautiful, and Izumi will offer to mend things with her by taking Shikimori out on a picnic date.

In the second episode of Shikimori Is Not Just A Cutie, titled “Winds And Clouds Ball Sports,” a new sports competition came to the forefront. But because of his bad luck, Izumi got hit by the ball while the rest of the students were playing. After aiding him in the nurse’s office, Shikimori takes him back to the field where the volleyball match had already begun. Shikimori played exceptionally well, and Izumi was proud of her.
Since they won the match for the class, these two became the heroes of their friends. All the ladies wanted to take pictures with Izumi. But he only wanted to meet with Shikimori and congratulate her. However, in the final panel of the episode, Shikimori confronts Izumi for being too close to Inuzuka. The episode ended with him denying any romantic feelings for the other girl.
