LBX (Little Battlers Experience) Girls is a Japanese action fantasy anime series. It is an adaptation of the video game of the same name by Level-5. Studio A-Cat animated the debut installment of this show. The very first episode of this anime premiered on January 7, 2021. It ran for twelve episodes before concluding on March 25 of the same year.

The anime series starts mediocre and developed its character and world very slowly. But once it is done with them, everything begins to make sense. The development of the story is good, but the story itself is pretty average. The same goes for its art style and animation. However, they made the girls extra cute, but the antagonist was pretty lame. Along with the cute girls, there were some pretty visuals as well.
LBX Girls was nowhere near the previous anime shows of the Little Battlers Experience franchise. The good thing is there wasn’t a lot of fanservice. Also, it didn’t come as a promotional anime as no physical merchandise of the game was used in it. Overall, LBX Girls is a mess, but it is watchable.
LBX Girls Season 2: Renewal Status!
The inaugural season of the anime received a mixed response from the fans. It didn’t impress the critics as well. The series has a poor score of 5.76 on MyAnimeList. The game of the same title by Level-5 was pretty popular, but the anime didn’t reach the same heights. At the time of writing, it doesn’t even have a total of 3,000 members in its MAL group. Besides, the anime is based on the video game and already adopted its entire story in the first season.
Now, the production studio has nothing to use in LBX Girls Season 2. Therefore, it seems like the odds are not in favor of anime’s second run. It is very unlikely that the producers will invest in this show again, especially after the poor performance.
LBX Girls Season 2: Release Date
