The original plot of the Lord of the Rings trilogy happens in Middle Earth. It is a long epic story about the adventures of a hobbit, Frodo Baggins. The main focus of the story was rings of great power. The main character must travel across the world and ensure that the rings do not fall into the wrong hands. The story follows Frodo having epic adventures with all sorts of magical creatures in Middle Earth.
The Lord of the Rings Anime Film is, however, different. It is a prequel to the events that happen in the Lord of the Rings, and more specifically, a prequel to Peter Jackson’s 2001 trilogy. From what we know of the story so far, it happened 250 years before. The main character of the story is Helm Hammerhand. He was a legendary king of Rohan, and he was the one who built Helm’s Deep. J. R. R. Tolkien never wrote down this particular story. However, he had explored details about the main character in the Appendix of his novel series. The filmmakers are relying on that to make their version.
