Shueisha launched Manga Plus in 2019 as an online manga platform. It came as a mobile app and as a website. Manga Plus is majorly used for publishing the translated versions of manga from Weekly Shounen Jump, Shonen Jump +, and a few extra titles. Usually, it provides the first three chapters of the manga series and the most recently released chapters for free. But the First Read Free Program will be changing that for a year.
Manga Plus: Official Announcement
Manga Plus announced the First Read Free Program as a part of its third-anniversary celebrations. This program allows users to read all the chapters of the ongoing manga titles. However, these titles need to be the titles that Shueisha is releasing simultaneously in Japanese and English. However, a user can read one chapter only once. Series that are being re-released or completed are not a part of this arrangement. Moreover, this campaign is available only on the app. So download the Manga Plus App on your phone right now to read them for free!
The following are the titles that viewers can read for free as a part of the Manga Plus First Read Free Campaign. There are 41 series.
Campaign Duration!
The Manga Plus First Read Free Campaign will be running from January 2022 to January 2023. It will run for a period of one year. So for one year, readers will be able to read 41 ongoing manga titles for free. However, remember that you can read one chapter only once. So if a reader begins reading a chapter, they should finish it in one sitting. They should not leave it in between. This is because the app will consider that chapter read. And it won’t unlock without payment again.
