The anime franchise dates back to 1979 and is finally making a grand comeback, not just with a new addition but also with the old ones. That’s right, the world’s largest streamer has signed a deal with the makers of Mobile Suit Gundam Films! What’s this deal? Let’s find out.
Mobile Suit is a very popular science fiction Japanese shonen manga that first came out in 1979. Yoshiyuki Tomino and Yoshikazu Yasuhiko are the writer and illustrators of the manga series. In the same year as its first manga release date, the anime adaptation also began airing. Later in 1981, the TV series was called off, and a new film franchise began production. The films were currently under the distribution license of Sunrise Studios. But now that Netflix has come into the frame, things will be different. Here is everything to know about the deal.
Netflix Licences Mobile Suit Gundam Films!
Recently, the Netflix streaming service took to its official social media handles to make a grand announcement. The streamer will be licensing the streaming rights of all three Mobile Suit Films.
