Along with this battle, the forthcoming season will feature an all-out war too. So, when will the sixth season of MHA hit the screens? Here are all the latest details.
My Hero Academia, also known as Boku no Hero Academia, is a Japanese action-adventure anime series. It is a remake of Kohei Horishoki’s manga series of the same title. The anime first came out on April 3, 2016. It became an instant hit, and since then, Bones animation studio has been releasing a new season of MHA every single year. Its fifth installment premiered earlier this year on March 27 and ended after running for 25 episodes on September 25.
My Hero Academia Season 6: Key Visual
The official Twitter account of MHA released the key visual of the anime’s forthcoming season. It features Deku on the half side and Togura on the remaining half. Both of them will acquire some new powers before engaging in combat with one another. Besides, the caption of this tweet also reveals that a full-scale war is approaching. It means My Hero Academia Season 6 is all set to feature an all-out war between the heroes and the League of Villains.
The new season will follow manga’s one of the longest and one of the best Paranormal Liberation Front War arcs. The war will break out, but the main focus of the next installment will remain on the conflict between Izuku and Tomura.
Manga Compared To The Anime!
Kohei Horikoshi, the author of the manga series, stated that the manga series had already reached its final act this year. Therefore, the end of this critically acclaimed manga is quite near. Its serialization began in 2014, and since then, Horikoshi has published a total of 32 volumes. The most recent and the fifth installment of the anime adopted the Joint Training and My Villain Academia arcs. However, Bones studio rushed the second arc and summed it up in only six episodes.
The fifth season finale found its stopping point at the beginning of Chapter 258 of the manga. It is the beginning of the Paranormal Liberation Front War arc. It was the best stopping point as it perfectly teased the events that are about to take place in My Hero Academia Season 6. The anime series has covered 25 volumes of manga so far. If anyone wants to read ahead of the events of the fifth season, they can start at the 26th volume of the manga.
