The 161st chapter of OPM, titled “Sinking Feelings,” started with Garou standing in the middle of the sea thinking about how even in such a disaster, none of the S-Class heroes were ready to show their faces. Thus, he was free to become “absolute evil.” But he felt that he was missing something big. Just then, a voice asks him- what are you supposed to be. As Garou had decided, he introduced himself to Saitama as Garou the Monster, the one who had come to strike mankind into the depths of death and despair.
But Saitama said that he saw him saving the civilians in the helicopter. And he also chopped down the sea monster into two halves. Garou replied that he was only trying to establish his power in front of everyone. Right as he was saying something about destroying all the heroes, Saitama interrupted him. He said that he was leaving as Garou was not a monster at all. He monologues that a series of weird events led to the burning of his house and now he was considering obliterating the entire planet.
But Garou got angered by his lack of attention. As Saitama was about to leave, he charged right at him only to get punched away. This was the moment when he recalled that Saitama was the same bald guy. He was that lazy man that he kept running into over and over again.
