Episode 8 of Police In A Pod started with Minamoto and Yamada getting a cup of coffee from Shikine after they come back from the place of crime. But this angered Sergeant Fuji as Shikine was supposed to clean the station instead of brewing coffee. But Shikine had a sexist reply to his boss. After hearing what he just said, Fuji had a sudden urge to slap him. But she stooped herself. Her attention was caught by a yakuza member who had the audacity to call Shikine a kid in uniform.
Just when a fight was about to commence between Shikine and the goon, officer Fuji stepped in to save the day for him. Taken aback by the gesture, he had nothing to say after this. But it was evident that Shikine had learned his lesson. The episode ended with an incident of a woman trying to attack the lot with the help of a sharp weapon.
