In the penultimate episode of Remake Our Life, Kyoya faced the consequences of the failure of the new game. The furious producer arranged a team meeting and held Kawasegawa responsible for the imprudent bugs. However, Kyoya stepped in and took all the blame upon himself. He explained that the bug was not Kawasegawa’s mistake but an engine fault. Besides, he also showed the new engine he had bought from his personal budget.
Later on, Kyoya visited an old school friend who was a professional illustrationist now. He asked his friend to help him with the new project. After much convincing, his friend agreed to join the cause. As Kyoya was leaving for his office, he received a message from Kawasegawa for leaving the town. He immediately rushed to the airport to stop her. At the airport, Kawasegawa slapped Kyoya for not confessing his feelings earlier. The episode ended with Keiko entering the airport and spotting the two.
