The first season of Restaurant to Another World introduces the viewers to the world of the Western Restaurant Nekoya. The restaurant is a world of its own that serves western cuisines to the Japanese people. But the catch is that every Saturday, the gateway of the diner turns into the doorway of other worlds. Thus, customers from all over the universe arrive at this diner to enjoy the delicious delicacies. Most of the season spends time introducing new customers to the fans.
From elves to animals to ogres to dragons, all feature in the season. By the end of the final episode, the doorway of the Western Restaurant Nekoya opened. The official website of the anime has recently announced the casting changes that will come by in the sequel. Thus, the cast of Restaurant to Another World Season 2 includes Junichi Suwabe as the Shopkeeper. Along with him, Sumire Uesaka is playing Aletta. Moreover, Saori Ōnishi will be voicing Kuro. Lastly, Toyama is cast for the role of a new character named Hilda.
One of the most significant changes in the staff of the sequel is the altering of the production company. Studio OLM is replacing Silver Link to animate the second season of Restaurant to Another World. Masato Jinbo will be returning as the director and writer of the series.
