In the 17th episode of Scarlet Nexus, the viewers saw the platoon of Kasane going to Arahabaki. This is to stop Karen from copying Yuito. However, Kasane had to bid farewell to his sister. His platoon tried their best to stop Karen from teaching Yuito. However, Karen turned out to be too powerful for them. As a result, Kasane took control of Arahabaki and used the cables to force Yuito to activate his psionic powers. It opened a portal, and Kasane disappeared through it. However, it has caused brain damage to Yuito.
Later, Arashi and Kyoka revealed that Karen’s use of the red strings is making Yuito lose his memories. Not only that, but it also erased him from time and space. If Yuito got amnesia, then he might cease to exist. Kyoki suggested Arashi create a program that allows the present soldiers to copy their memories into Yuito’s minds so that they can stop him from disappearing. By the end of the episode, Yuito regained consciousness with the help of Arashi’s program. In the ending moments, Fubuki assembled everyone to tell his plan but collapsed due to injuries.
