On January 5, 2022, the staff of Shadows House Anime unveiled a new visual for the second season. The show-makers released the new visual to convey the release date announcement.
The second season of Shadows House features the same cast and staff from the previous season. CloverWorks animation studios of The Promised Neverland fame will return to work in the new season. Shadows House anime draws its story from the manga series by So-ma-to. The first season of the anime introduces the audience to the Shadows family. The Shadows family are nobles who live in a huge manor. Just like their house name, they have a black shadow-like appearance. These shadows are all assigned dolls, serving the nobles and acting as their faces. A new doll Emilico is assigned to the kind Kate. Her curiosity leads her to uncover a deep and dark secret of the Shadows Family.
For season two, the manga creators So-ma-to will supervise the script. Season two will follow the adventures of Emilico from season one. Kate and her doll try to uncover the hidden mysteries of the Shadows family. Both young women stage a rebellion against the Lord Grandfather. Thus, going against the rest of the nobility. Furthermore, season two will finally introduce Ghost Robe, a major character of the series.
