But the only thing wrong with him is the fact that he is extremely unlucky. Enters his girlfriend Shikimori who is the only person who has the ability to defend him from any harm. It was on the first day of the second year of high school that they realize that they are going to be in the same class.
After all of their classes are over, Izumi and his friends go for a bowling session. All through the game, Izumi kept encouraging Shikimori which led to her getting the winning streak. But even at the bowling club, a large signboard was about to fall over Izumi. But Shikimori managed to save him. The episode ends with the two sharing a close moment together.
