In the next outing, Kukuru will go to the shore and look for some organic food for the slugs that did not include the protein-rich food of Tingaara. Kukuru did not display specific species of some slugs in the event. But this is surely going to be a project on her work report.
After every project, Kukuru has to submit the feedbacks and work report to her manager. Thus, she will be answerable for the absence of some species in the event. Even though her concerns are valid, not presenting the slugs in the event caused the reputation of Tingaara to decrease. Thus, Kukuru will have to pay for her actions in Shiroi Suna No Aqautope Episode 16. The episode might end with Kukuru getting another project which is meant for an underlying worker.

In the 15th chapter of Aquatope on White Sand, Kukuru was tasked with another project by her boss. She was asked to display all the various species of sea slugs and also study them. First, she judged that there were innumerable species preserved in the aquarium. So, she asked Fuuka and Kai to help her in sorting things out. Before the display, she found that some of the species were not consuming the seafood that she was giving them.
One of the caretakers suggested that she take the slugs to the presentation as they are. She got in a row with the co-worker for suggesting such ignorant advice. After completing the display of the rest of the slugs, she decided to go to the shore and find some organic food for the slugs.
