According to the official synopsis on the website, Slow Loop manga tells the story of Hiyori Minagi, an ambitious yet naive girl. Hiyori’s entire world revolves around her love for fly fishing at the beach. She has acquired this hobby from her father, who used to take her to the beaches as a child. But her seemingly normal life turns upside down when Hiyori meets her step-sister at the beach one day.
It turns out that Koharu is her mother’s second child from another marriage. What follows is a story filled with emotions. As Hiyori gets closer to Koharu, she loses her grip over the past and believes it unjust to her father. The official website of the Slow Loop Anime recently shared the first promotional clip of the anime. The 120-second clip beautifully introduces Koharu and Hiyori to the viewers. The trailer also sets up the world that the fans are about to enter in the coming months.

For now, the official statement has only confirmed the cast names of the lead characters. The cast of Slow Loop anime includes Rin Kusumi as Hiyori Minagi. Natsumi Hioka will be playing the part of Koharu Minagi, who is Hiyori’s sister-in-law. Lastly, Tomomi Mineuchi is playing Koi Yoshinagi, who is Hiyori’s childhood friend.
The staff members of the anime adaptation include Noriaki Akitaya, who is directing the series. Yuka Yamada is the writer of the first season. In addition, Takurō Iga will be composing music for the series. Moreover, Geisei Morita is the assistant director of the project. Shoko Takimoto will handle the character design department.
