The next episode of Sonny Boy is titled “Two Years Vacation.” As the title suggests, Nagara and Mizuho will leave the current island and hop along with Rajdhani to find a way back home. But Rajdhani had cautioned them that any time travel would lead them to lose at least two years in the current world. Thus, if the plan fails to hit the mark, Nagara and Mizuho will have to come up with a good excuse to justify their disappearance. Thus, the two students will begin their second journey in the next episode.
Moreover, fans can also expect to see Azakaze’s fate after refusing to help Nozomi from the fall. Nagara and Mizuho will surely try to serve justice to their friend before leaving for a two-year-long quest. Additionally, the role of God and death in Rajdhani’s arc will also be clarified as the story progresses to the end. In the eleventh episode of Sonny Boy, the class learned that Nozomi did not survive the fall from the cliff. Thus, they all began to mourn her death. Nagara suggested that they should conduct her respectful last rights. Mizuho and Nagara set up the tent for the memorial, but no one from the class came to the tent. Hence, the two end up performing the rituals alone. The next day, Rajdhani came to pay a visit to his friends. Nagara and Mizuho realized that their friend had changed a lot. While he talked about God and worldly concepts, he also vaguely mentioned a place similar to home.
He told Nagara and Mihuzo that there was one last chance that they could get home. At first, the two of them decided that they would take along the class with them. But Nagara argued that most of the students had no will to triumph any longer. Thus, they agree to try out the final plan on their own. The episode ended with the two agreeing with Rajdhani and asking him to execute the plan.
