Better known as the Mist Pillar, Muichiro Tokito is an odd boy in the team. Every time he hits the screens, Muichiro is seen lost and inattentive. However, his Mist breathing techniques have been the most effective in combat. Viewers saw a glimpse of powers during the training sessions of Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu. It will be interesting to see him use the fullest potential of his Mist breathing technique against a demon.
Shinobu Kocho
Shinobu Kocho is the fan-favorite female demon slayer who is adored for her unique style of fighting. Even her character design is much loved by all the fans. In terms of power, she was one of the first members to join the Hashira. Her Insect breathing style enables her to use the unique powers of butterflies and bees to take down an opponent. Thus, Shinobu Kocho can be considered one of the strongest Demon Slayer characters.
Sanemi Shinazugawa
Sanemi Shinazugawa was first seen in the admission training of the Demon Slayer corps. He, along with three others, cleared the first round of the Demon Slayer admission. While Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu were all training steadily, he climbed up the ladder to become a hashira instantaneously. His powers were even appreciated by an upper-ranking demon named Kokushibo.
Tanjiro Kamado
Even though Tanjiro has a lot of training and practice to go through, he is still too powerful for his age and time. Within a year of joining the Demon Slayer Corps, Tanjiro managed to get a seat in the Mugen Train mission next to Rengoku. Moreover, his Water Breathing technique blended with his father’s flame dance made up for the best fighting styles in the show.
Akaza
Akaza was the first upper-ranking demon who used his fullest potential against a demon slayer. His fight with Rengoku still remains one of the most intense battles of the anime series. This battle set a precedent for what the demon slayers are up against in the future. Being the third-ranking demon, he had the fastest regeneration powers that fans had seen in the show so far.
Mitsuri Kanroji
Also known as the Love Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps, Misturi Kanroji is considered the most lethal of all the Demon Slayers. Mitsuri Kanroji’s breathing technique involves the Breath of Love that can imperialize the opponent and forcefully make them surrender.
Muzan Kibutsuji
Muzan Kibutsuji is undoubtedly one of the strongest Demon Slayer characters of all time. So far in the anime, there has been no character that has been able to match the powers and stature of the main antagonist. In fact, all the demons that have ranked in this list so far have gotten their powers from a single source. Even Nezuko got all her powers from getting bitten by Muzan Kibutsuji.
