Summer Time Rendering is based on a manga of the same name. Yasuki Tanaka is the writer and illustrator of the suspense thriller. It began serializing digitally in the Shonen Jump+ Magazine in October 2017. Additionally, it was released on the Manga Plus website and app. The manga has completed thirteen volumes to date. And released its final volume in April 2021. Later on, Udon Entertainment will publish the English print of the manga in 2022.
Summer Time Rendering Anime: New Visual And Promo Video Released
The Jump Festa ’22 revealed a new video and visual for Summer Time Rendering Anime. The anime is based on the thriller manga by Yasuki Tanaka. The project was first announced in February 2021. The first promo video was released on the official website of the anime in October. And the second video was launched on December 19, 2021. The clip also included a release window of the show. Additionally, a new visual featuring the main characters were also released on the same day.
Also, a staff announcement in October revealed Ayumu Watanabe as the director of the show. Hiroshi Seko of the Attack on Titan fame will work on series composition. And OLM Studios will produce the show. Confirmed cast members include Natsuki Hanae as Shinpei. And Anna Nagase as Ushio. Lastly, joining them is Saho Shirasu as Mio. What Is The Anime About?
Summer Time Rendering is a thriller genre story. The story has elements of time travel, mystery, and action. The manga gained popularity for its engaging storyline. And received praise for its action-packed horror mystery. The plot centers around a mystery in the small and idle Wakayama City. And follows the protagonist as he uncovers the secrets of his hometown. So, the anime will run for 25 episodes and will cover the whole manga in them.
At the beginning of the story, the protagonist, Shinpei, returns to his hometown. He returns after hearing news of his friend Ushio’s death. Ushio and Mio are sisters who take him in after the death of his parents. Soon, he finds out that the deaths of his parents and his friend are connected. And that a mysterious shadow disease is haunting the residents of his hometown. While cracking the mystery, he discovers he can travel back in time to save his friend. Thus, he has no choice but to travel through multiple timelines to save her.
When Will Summer Time Rendering Anime Release?
An anime adaptation was first teased in the last chapter of the manga in February 2021. So, the anime will have 25 episodes and will cover the whole manga. Disney+ will launch the show worldwide.
