Studio Bones has been a loyal contributor to the Shonen anime adaptations for a long time. With popular anime adaptations like My Hero Academia, Mob Psycho 100, and Full Metal Alchemist, the studio has gained a respectable position in the anime business. It looks like this production company is now expanding its reach in the western markets as well. The news breaks out that Studio Bones and Netflix are coming together for a joint venture for a popular comic book adaption, the Supercrooks anime series.

All About Supercrooks
The Supercrooks comic book series first started serialization in 2012. The art design is by comic book legend Leinil Francis Yu. For those who might not be familiar with Supercrooks, it tracks the lives of former supervillains who are summoned back to do one last job. This is going to be a grand heist. The team-building, planning, and events of the heist make up for the plot. Supercrooks is essentially a dark story with abundant bloodshed, guts, and raunchiness. The Supercrooks anime series will have a total of thirteen episodes. While an official renewal is yet to come, we can say that Netflix will put this decision on the response of the first one.
Supercrooks Anime: Release Date
The streaming service has not announced a definite release date for this Mark Millar adaptation just yet. But we do know that the series will be making a premiere in June at the Annecy Festival.
