Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the longest-running manga and anime series, One Piece recently shared his thought on when he is planning to wrap up the series. The manga of the show has been running successfully for more than two decades. It became an instant hit when it first made its appearance in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1997. And ever since it is running with the same pace and momentum.
When The Manga Will End?
The creator, Eiichiro, teased the ending of the manga several times. But he never disclosed that when and how will he going to end it. But in the recent interview, the person responsible for the journey of Monkey D Luffy revealed he is planning to end the manga of One Piece in four to five years from now.
One Piece is undoubtedly the biggest name in the history of the manga and the anime. It can continue for as long as the creators if it wants. But the thing is Eiichoro already planned its ending and already started working on it. In an interview with a televised Variety Program, he said, “The series will end in the next four to five years.” And he informed the fans that he mapped out the ending of the manga which is running for the past 27 years.
The series is currently featuring the Land of Wano Arc, and everyone is curious to see how this arc will end. But now, along with this arc, every single fan of the Straw Hat Pirates is busy in preparing their own theories for the end.
