Afterward, Studio 3Hz took over the animation department for the second season.

What Will Be The Plot?
The first season of The Devil Is A Part-Timer ended by adapting till the second volume of the light novel. With this, the story will kick-start from the third volume of the LN, essentially the 25th chapter of the manga. This includes the Obon festival arc of the story. The second season will begin with the opening of a strange portal. Enters a little girl who walks up to the Devil King. She utters the words ‘papa’ and ‘mama.’
While the shock of them being partners was a lot in their own, the return of a missing child adds to the mystery. Both Ashiya and Chiho are shocked at the sight of them being in a relationship. On top of this, even Maou and Emi are not fixated on how this child came to be. The Devil Is A Part-Timer Season 2 will essentially deal with the family arc of the story.

At the time of writing, there is no announcement of the particular release date of the second season. However, the plot abundance suggests that there is little room to drop the series after the first season. Fans are expecting that the season might have more than two cours.
