The First Slam Dunk Movie: Official Announcement!
So, the official Twitter account of the movie brings the first teaser visual for the fans. And seeing this, the fans have been assured that Toei Animation will do justice to them. The 75-second video shows the two characters practicing a small set of dribbling. And thus, we are introduced to the opening theme and the title of the movie. You can check out the video right here:
Cast & Staff Updates!
The main starcast of the movie was announced right with the announcement of the movie. So now, the cast of the movie includes Shugo Nakamura playing the fan-favorite Ryota Miyagi. Along with him, Jun Kasama will be playing the role of Hisashi Mitsui. Shin’ichiro Kamio will be seen as Kaeda Rukawa. At last, Subaru Kimura and Kenta Miyake play the role of Hanamichi Sakuragi and Takenori Akagi.
At Toei Animation, Inoue is directing the movie. The First Slam Dunk Movie will be under the character designs of Yasuyuki Ebara. Along with him, Katsuhiko Kitada, Naoki Miyahara, and Toshio Ohashi are the technical directors on the set.
The First Slam Dunk Movie: Release Date
The final release date of the film is yet to come out. But the studio made a note to present the screening details. So, The First Slam Dunk Movie will begin the Dolby Cinema screenings on December 10, 2022. And it will open on December 3, 2022, in Japan.
