There is a buzz that the manga The Gene of AI, by writer and artist Kyuuri Yamada, will be made into an anime. The announcement said that the show would be an anime for television and provided further details about its production. “Humanoids,” a mix of human and artificial intelligence, play a small part in this story’s future society. From November 2015 to August 2017, Weekly Shojo Champion, a shoujo manga magazine by Akita Shoten, put out the story. The series ran for a total of eight volumes in tankabon format. AI no Idenshi: Red Queen, the next part of the manga, started coming out in October 2017. The story will end in June of this year. There are now five volumes available. From July 2020 until July 2022, Bessatsu Shonen Champion published the third installment of AI no Idenshi, titled Blue Age. It’s now been put into four books, though. Studio Madhouse has confirmed that they will adapt the animation into a television series.

Studio Madhouse plans to adapt The Genes of AI manga into an anime. In the commercial, a sneak peeks of the finished product was shown. Yamada started publishing the manga in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine in November 2015. And he stopped doing so in August 2017. Later, from October 2017 to June 2019, the same publisher put AI no Idenshi: Red Queen in Bessatsu Shonen Champion magazine. Risa Higuchi, Yume Miyamoto, Takeo Ootsuka, and Sudo Hikaru. The Genes of AI Anime: Release Date
