In the 219th chapter of the manga, Takemichi and Senju Kawargi went on a date for the first time. Senju found a secluded corner to confront Takemichi about the upcoming war. She revealed that the war would begin on July 14th. She also told Takemichi Hanagaki that his primary focus during the fight should be on the Kantou Manji gang. Moreover, she confirmed that the Brahman Gang’s sole motive is to expand their reach and recruit as many members as they can.
Later on, Takemichi revealed that his only wish in life is to defeat Mikey. But Senju disapproved and said that her wish is more love-driven. She wrote on a piece of paper, “Save Hanagaki.” As they both join hands to start a friendship, Takemichi gets a vision of Senju dying.
