Trigun Stampede is based on of Yasuhiro Nightow’s manga series of the same name. The manga started serializing in 1995 in Tokuma Shoten’s Monthly Shonen Captain magazine. But it ran only till 1997. However, being the popular manga of the 90s, it again returned in 1997 with Trigun Maximum in Shonengahosha’s Young King Ours magazine. Later Dark Horse Comics released the manga in English.
Trigun Stampede Episode 1: Official Announcement
In November 2022, Crunchyroll announced that it would hold Trigun Stampede Episode 1’s premiere at Anime NYC. The official website previously reported that the staff members from CG anime Studio Orange would join the first episode’s premiere, including EP Yoshihiro Watanabe and chief producer Waki Kiyotaka. So the screening was supposed to occur during the panel featuring the staff members. Soon in 2023, the anime will be available to a global audience.
Trigun Stampede Episode 1: What Will Happen Next?
Crunchyroll dropped the first trailer of Trigun Stampede, and it delves into the impending battle. The narrative opens up with a massive outbreak of fire that leads to the planet’s destruction. A young woman appears to petrify and pushes two boys inside an aircraft. A boy named Vash refuses to leave her alone. But she forces him to protect himself and his brother Nai. However, both the boys don’t want to leave her, but they don’t have any choice, and finally, their spacecraft leaves the planet.
Soon the trailer cuts to the future, where Vash is an adult and still remembers the traumatic past. However, he is now the most wanted person on this new planet. The intergalactic team is behind him. But he finds a way to trick them into following his heart. But there’s something that he is hiding from everyone. Vash’s brother is gone, but the trailer teases the looming battle between Vash and Nai, as Nai gets infected after losing their mom.
Trigun Stampede Episode 1: Release Date
The studio has only announced that Trigun Stampede will air in January 2023. But the official release date has yet to reveal. However, Trigun Stampede Episode 1 already premiered on November 18-20, 2022, at the Anime NYC event. But it will soon appear on Crunchyroll this month.
