The 103rd chapter of Twin Star Exorcists started on a pretty decent note, with the rest of the team members discussing if Rokuro was going to make it out alive or not. Roku came to know from the people of Basara that they had known him since he was a child. He brought up the topic of his parents’ death. But Suzu tells him that this too was a lie. It is a made-up lie to cover up the fact that one of their spawns was found inside Magano. They told him that before the exorcists found him, he was raised by the people of Basara.
As the talks continued, Roku found out many strange things about the people who resided in Basara. Soon enough, an invasion by the Purge began in the valley. Roku was told that a Purge is a horrible dark Tsunami that ate away most of the lives that were in the valley. The chapter ended on a heavy note, with Suzu telling Roku that she did not want to die. The final panel of the chapter was the most amazing action sequence of the story so far.
