The official website for the 3D CG anime announced that the final season will be released this year. Moreover, the final season will include two new characters. M.A.O will be voicing the new character of Valkure. Whereas, Koji Ishii is playing the role of the new character Mephisto. The staff for the anime includes director Kenji Kamayama and producers Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts.
Moreover, Nobuka Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi will be composing the music for the final season. The role of the new Ultraman character, Kotaro Higashi was supposed to be played by Tatsuhisa Suzuki. However, due to his break from the entertainment industry, he is no longer being considered for the role. Instead, Tomoaki Maeno will be playing the character.

The final season will be seeing the protagonist Shinjiro Hayata struggle to control his powers. It will also see Shinjiro becoming a threat to mankind.
