The title of the next episode will be “The King and the Sword.” The episode will open with Ketil giving his opinion on the entire act that took place in the throne rooms of Denmark. Canute is now the king, but everyone is now aware of all the things that he is capable of. Now, one more government is to fall in front of the citizens. Only a duel can solve this matter now.
But now that the king of Denmark is in the transition phase, all changes are to take place in a sudden movement. This also means that Thorfinn and Einar might not get their freedom as easily. As Ketil was about to leave for the Palace, he went to the two to offer them their freedom.
He said that if they till the soil, he would make them free men. In the last act of the episode, Herald the King named Canute as his successor at last. And the result of this was the fact that King Sweyn was around to expose the man and the ambitions that he was keeping. In the end, it turned out that it was Canute who planned the death of his brother so as to become the king of England and Denmark.
